These are the most common repairs we typically service but we can do just about anything when it comes to doors.
Is your door dragging slightly? Harder to open and close than it once was? Need to lift up on it to get the deadbolt to lock? A non evasive adjustment to an exterior or interior door that doesn't require removal or trim (this can include adjusting hinges and strike plates)
Gaps around your door? Does it not seal as tight anymore? Drags or rubs when trying to open and close? Sometimes a door has settled too much that a simple adjustment can't resolve the issue. With an advanced adjustment we would remove the interior trim in order to shim where needed along with everything we do on a simple adjustment. We will re attach and re caulk the trim once finished.
The last resort before needing to purchase a new door. There are instances where the existing door has settled severely or the installation of it was done so poorly that there is no other option other than to completely reinstall it. This typically involves needing new trim and other materials specific to the opening.
Just need a new handle, door knob, deadbolt installed? Provide the new handle set and we will install it. This is to replace an existing handle set with a new one.
Have a door that you want to add a deadbolt to but there isn't a hole to install it in? We will bore the hole in the door and route out the opening on the frame for it to lock into before installing the new hardware. You provide the deadbolt and we take care of the rest.
Needing the exterior or interior trim replaced? That current exterior trim have sun or water damage? Dogs scratched up your interior trim? We got you covered.
Does the current caulking or sealant around your doors need redone? Is there even any there? It's important to have a good seal all the way around the trim and below the threshold to ensure a longer lasting door and a more energy efficient home.
Other services we offer besides door installation and repair
We can replace your existing attic stairs with new ones. We only offer this service for the two common size attic stair units (22 x 54) and (25 x 54). There must already be an opening for attic stairs, we do not cut new openings.
